This course is for physicists aspiring to appear for Radiation Safety Officer Examination conducted by the BARC Mumbai. It has mostly MCQs in T20 format, i.e 20 questions to be answered in 20 minutes.

This course is on Radiation Protection and has three lectures in it. The first lecture provides an introduction to Radiation Protection, the second on Radiation effect and ICRP recommendations and the third lecture discusses the radiation projection methods and dosimetry. There
are about 10-15 MCQs for each lecture and the student has to complete them
successfully to proceed to the next lecture. A certificate can be
downloaded once all the assignments are completed successfully.

This course is on Radiotherapy facility design and has three lectures and a final recap. The first lecture discusses the basic factors used for shielding design, and methods of shielding determination for low energy linear accelerators, the second lecture discusses the shielding design for high energy bunker including the neutron dose, shielding requirement for neutron and for HDR bunker, and the third lecture discusses the IDR, TADR and a worked out example for shielding calculation for cobalt bunker. The first two lectures have 20 MCQs each and the third lecture has 10 MCQs, and
the student must complete them successfully to proceed to the next
